Brief: To commemorate the history of design and its impact on the world around us, Faux Gallery is curating a travelling pop-up exhibition called ‘Unfold—A Celebration of Design through Time’. The exhibition will document the evolution of design and demonstrate the visual language it uses to speak to audiences from all walks of life.
To promote the exhibition, Faux needs a series of promotional items to be designed and developed.
01 The Postcard

As an introduction to the exhibition, create invitations in a postcard format. The postcard invitation design needs to feature the fundamental elements of visual design; that is, line, colour, shape, texture, space, form and value. Create two different design concepts.
02 The Tote Bag

Design tote bags as souvenirs to visitors at the exhibitions. You are to create two visual variants for the front of the tote bags that reflect the theme of their exhibition and are inspired by design practitioners; David Carson and Armin Hofmann. Also write your own bio for each designer for the back of the tote bags.

Create two A3 poster designs that promote the two cities the exhibition will visit: Paris and Marrakesh.
